One of the lower priced motels in the area but still clean and welcoming for a quick overnight stay. Indoor pool and hot tub with a full exercise room available. It's kept locked so you'll need to ask for the key and turn on the AC to let it cool off before you start exercising. Full breakfast is served in the lobby with lots of choices. I 'd recommend this place if you're on a budget.
Clean and the room was cool plus satellite TV and at a reasonable price. Well kept pool and hot tub... offers a great breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be returning.
Barely a four. Pool doesn't open until 2, not sure why. Breakfast was subpar. I wouldn't expect anything extravagant for the price, but fresh would be nice. Staff was not friendly. Not mean, but not welcoming. But, it was clean, the hot tub was actually hot, the pool a nice temperature, and the cost was affordable and I highly value all of these things, especially cost and cleanliness, so it deserves a four (but 3.5 would be better but this isn't an option).
3 of us stayed here. We had no intention to because we were already booked at another hotel nearby. One of us decided to go check it out anyways. We ultimately took the cancellation fee and rebook at Howard Johnson. Hotel was convenient, cheap, and actually clean and nice. Highly recommend. Think twice before just defaulting to your typical inns.
I booked this room last minute after previous plans fell through. I was under the impression that it was a hotel, until I got there and discovered it was actually a motel. This isn't a Howard Johnson, it's the Holbrook Motel Inn. The room was generally a bit dirty, we were afraid to put anything on the floor. We also checked very carefully for bedbugs, but thankfully didn't find any. So that's one positive. Our room had a connecting door and my boyfriend was worried someone might attempt to come in during the night because there was no lock on our side of the door. We left early the next morning and did not stay for breakfast as we wanted out as soon as possible.
